The Team: The Commercial team is responsible for the sales, operations, commercial product strategy and partnerships for NewsUK's brands including The Sun, The Times and Sunday Times.

Your Role: Our Sales Managers sell market-leading advertising solutions across all platforms to include digital and print display, branded content, video and programmatic channels to their agency groups. Responsible for building strong relationships at all levels within trading and client services.

Role Objectives:

  • Develop, pitch and deliver cross-platform advertising solutions targeting our vast and diverse audience.
  • Proactively build and maintain strong relationships within your agency and client patch with particular focus on investment, planning, pure play digital, programmatic and publishing teams.
  • Maintain external profile through regular brand or bespoke presentations, meetings, hosting and attending agency events and being a highly visible face of News UK in Manchester
  • Understand and apply News UK's first party data applying audience and product insight to help secure commercial revenue.
  • Work with the wider team to develop new and innovative commercial ideas that will drive incremental spend across multiple platforms.
  • Work collaboratively with respective digital and print operations teams to ensure we deliver campaigns correctly, on time and to maximise performance.
  • Deliver excellent customer service through the sales cycle from prospecting, during the campaign period and through to post campaign analysis.
  • Define growth objectives for the agency portfolio through an articulate business plan
  • Produce accurate analytical and financial information when requested. Maintain accurate Salesforce records and collaborate effectively with other departments through CRM.
