Job Description

A sales enablement manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy to assist in improving the success of revenue generators within the Financial Services business. The primary purpose of the role is to enable growth of prioritised verticals, serving as a bridge between the BD and marketing departments, as well as the front office, ensuring alignment and maximising productivity. The primary goal is to empower the BD team and practitioners with the tools, knowledge, and content needed to drive new asset growth more effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resource Management:
    • Oversee various sales-related resources to enable growth of prioritised verticals, including:
      • Content: Ensure that sales collateral, presentations, and product information are up-to-date and readily accessible.
      • Technology and Systems: Facilitate the adoption and effective use of technology solutions.
      • Knowledge and Information: Provide access to relevant industry insights and market data.
      • Templates, Worksheets, and Presentations: Develop and maintain standardised materials.
    • Consistency and Quality Control: Ensure consistent messaging across the organisation to strengthen the company's brand.
  • Sales Strategies and Initiatives:
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams, as well as the practitioners, to develop effective strategies in key Verticals.
    • Help to implement initiatives that align with business goals and drive revenue growth.
    • Foster positive customer relationships through effective communication.
  • Establish Sales Enablement
    • Establish Sales Enablement as a new capability within the business, demonstrating a clear ROI which would provide justification for future expansion of the team under this individual

Qualifications

Key Skills

  • The sales enablement manager must possess strong strategic and analytical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in analysing quantitative and qualitative data to help optimise sales processes and resource allocation
  • A forward-thinking mindset in order to explore innovative ways to enhance sales effectiveness, whether through technology adoption, content creation etc.
  • Time Management: Balancing multiple responsibilities, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines is vital for success
  • Understanding of sales process methodologies to help tailor sales enablement within the different sales verticals.
  • Content Creation and Organization: Developing compelling sales materials (such as presentations, and case studies) and organising them for easy access by the Front Office.
