Sales Development and Commercialisation Decarbonisation Manager

Siemens Energy has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Development and Commercialisation Decarbonisation Manager to join the Aero Derivative Gas Turbine (AGT) business. Your new role will be to own the development, commercialisation of product and service offerings in relation to decarbonisation (including upgrades to Products and Services) and developing and tracking of our decarbonisation opportunities in relation to decarbonisation, working closely with wider functional teams within Aero Gas Turbines, developing and maintaining cost models, evaluating business cases and the continuous development of standardized tools and process in support of the Marketing and Sales function. You will join a team of Commercialization Managers working collaboratively with many global disciplines and functions across the Siemens Energy landscape.

The AGT business globally has successfully grown by focusing on the supply and support of AGT packages to the global oil & gas and power generation markets. The business has supplied gas turbines to customers in over 80 countries. It is our vision to be the customers' first choice for distributed power generation and compression systems solutions.

This is a permanent, office-based role (working Hub - Warwick UK) with a flexible working policy allowing you to also work remote from your office base.

What part will you play?

• Identify, develop and deliver suitable AGT decarbonisation commercial solutions as part of the AGT decarbonisation team.

• Reviewing AGT customers to identify target customers for a proactive approach.

• Communicating the AGT Decarbonisation Opportunities within the business to support growth and R&D funding.

• Build close working relationship with sales teams (central and regional), product development and product management to evaluate the feasibility of ideas for new products and services.

• Travel and meeting with customers for conferences and individual discovery and co-creation sessions.

• Drive the generation of new Service ideas from concept through to commercial realization

• Business case analysis and development across the service business and the preparation of recommendations for business approval. Analysis will include market analysis, competitor analysis, NPV analysis, KPIs, continuous improvements

• Develop sales materials; sales presentation, commercial pricing strategy, value selling tools, flyers, winning guides

• Support the sales teams in the development of sales strategy and presentation to customers

• Train and enable global and regional sales teams on the value of the product and sales material

• Manage the development of market-led business cases to inform the allocation of R&D funding

• Perform market analysis to include customer net zero goals, impact of government regulation and carbon tax development.

What you need

• A Strong interest in decarbonisation and developing our decarbonisation portfolio.

• Experience in decarbonisation is preferred.

• A good technical background.

• Ability to work with the extended AGT decarbonisation team to identify, develop and deliver suitable solutions. • Strong analytical skills

• A collaborative and pro-active nature

• Strong communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills

• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word applications

Desired but not mandatory:

• An MBA or equivalent graduate degree

• Experience in product marketing strategy

• Experience in the use and application of continuous improvement methodologies.

• Familiar with aero gas turbine products and Oil & Gas market

• Experience of a sales role to help understand markets and sales strategies.
