Salary £44,711- £49,764 | Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week | Safeguarding - Adults | Preston

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Manager to join the Lancashire Safeguarding Business Unit (LSBU) which supports the Lancashire Children's Safeguarding Assurance Partnership (CSAP, Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB) and Child Death Overview Panel (CDOP).

You'll lead a high-performing team, drive strategic priorities, and ensure the effective delivery of safeguarding practices across Lancashire

As a Safeguarding Business Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage a team to ensure the delivery of the Safeguarding workplan and strategic objectives.
  • Support the Senior Business Manager, Independent Scrutineer, and Chairs of Statutory Boards.
  • Coordinate statutory reviews and ensure compliance with national guidance.
  • Develop and monitor business plans, communication strategies, and inspection readiness promoting a culture of innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Use data and intelligence to inform decision-making and improve safeguarding outcomes.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Line management experience in a multi-agency environment.
  • Practical knowledge of safeguarding reviews, policy development, and implementation.

Given the sensitive and emotional nature of the work, the ability to manage confidential and distressing information with resilience is essential.
