Safeguarding Manager

The Governors of this happy and successful primary school are looking to appoint a Safeguarding
Manager to join the pastoral team and work across the whole school.
This position is for 25 hours per week (term time only + 1 week pro rata).
The successful candidate should be flexible as additional hours may need to be worked as and when required.
Applicants will need to demonstrate experience of working with the primary age group. The successful candidate will be accountable for identifying pupils in need of support or action and liaising with parents/carers, school staff and external agencies to provide appropriate provision.
This postholder will be the Designated Safeguarding Lead and will be a vital component to our school. He/she will have responsibility for all safeguarding caseloads throughout school under the supervision of the Headteacher. He/she will work alongside the newly appointed Family Support Worker.
