Rural Property Manager

Following new opportunities to grow our rurally located residential property management portfolios, we are looking for experienced property professionals to join our friendly and ambitious rural team based in Oxford, working alongside a team of qualified chartered surveyors. Our offices handle the full range of rural surveying, including estate management, property agency, valuations, rural grant applications, compensation, landlord and tenant matters and delivering national framework contracts, throughout the South, East and North.

Main tasks
- Conduct site inspections as scheduled and advising clients of any changes or issues arising. Promptly notifying tenants of any areas where action is required.
- Preparing residential tenancy agreements and associated records for ingoing tenants, including reference check, managing Tenant Deposits and producing inventories.
- Organising repair and maintenance work, including liaising with tenants and contractors, arranging access and checking that works are completed.
- Providing accurate, timely client reports.
- Ensure proper compliance management to include reviewing and uploading documents and ensuring an accurate record of routine repairs and maintenance
- Maintain a working knowledge of compliance information such as Landlord and Tenant/Tenancy Law and Money Laundering
- Providing a high level of efficiency and customer service to all clients, tenants and contractors
- Consistently maintain a high standard of record keeping and communications to ensure accuracy in file management, communications and compliance
What will it take to be successful?
You will be an experienced property manager with a successful track record in delivering excellent property management services and experience in developing relationships with existing and potential clients. We are looking for enthusiasm, integrity and a can-do attitude; someone who has the ability to manage multiple projects and deal with a variety of work. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, where you will need to be flexible in your approach and contribute to a supportive and collaborative team.
