As a Change Management Engineer, you will be responsible for managing system configurations, service integrations, and change deployments across Amazon installations globally, using our advanced mobile robotics platform. You will own and drive fleet change management and software retrofit initiatives, improving the performance, reliability, and safety of Amazon's robotics and automation systems. Your primary focus will be on coordinating and executing system changes in live operational environments, ensuring seamless integration with minimal disruption.
Please note: This is a full-time, on-site role in London, UK, requiring you to work from our central London office on a Sunday through Thursday (7 AM - 4 PM) schedule, with the flexibility to work remotely on weekend days.
Key job responsibilities
- Working Hours: Sunday through Thursday 7 AM - 4 PM schedule (with the flexibility to work remotely on weekend days)
- Own and execute change management processes for Amazon Robotics systems, including system configurations, software rollouts, and integration updates.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement change requests for robotics systems across multiple Amazon sites, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal operational impact.
- Assess risks and propose mitigation plans to prevent disruptions in system performance during system changes, upgrades and enhancements.
- Monitor change queues, execute changes, and respond to issues within defined SLAs, ensuring compliance with change control procedures.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Software, Retrofit, Hardware, Deployment Engineers) on various internal deployments, systems integrations and retrofits.
- Collect and analyze Voice of the Customer (VOC) feedback from site teams to continuously improve change implementation strategies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in change management and systems integration, providing guidance and escalation support for critical change-related issues.

We are a global team of EU, Australia and US launch and change management engineers who support a vast network of robots across Amazon's fulfillment centers worldwide.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)
- Experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in API & Mobile testing
- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
