Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Risk Manager with a strong background in Agile methodologies, proficient in using tools like Jira and ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks within an Agile environment. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate across teams to ensure risks are effectively managed while aligning with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Management & Assessment:
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks in Agile projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise risk management frameworks.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and action plans.
- Maintain and monitor risk registers, ensuring timely escalation of critical risks.
Agile Framework Support:
- Act as a risk liaison in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to identify and manage risks within sprints and releases.
Tool Expertise:
- Utilize Jira to track risks, dependencies, and impediments across Agile teams.
- Leverage ServiceNow for incident, problem, and risk management workflows.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and business units, to mitigate risks.
- Present risk reports and dashboards to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to improving risk management processes by identifying and implementing best practices.
- Facilitate risk workshops and training sessions to foster a risk-aware culture.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in risk management within an Agile environment.
- Proficiency in Jira for managing Agile processes and tracking risks.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow for ITSM and risk-related workflows.
- Familiarity with enterprise risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000, COSO).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Relevant certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, or Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, SAFe).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing risks in government or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and associated risks.
- Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
