We are looking for a Risk Manager (2nd Line) to join our team - the perfect step up for someone who has completed a Graduate training scheme and would like to move into a manager role and work for a high performing team who make a real impact across the business.
You'll be a key player in helping us understand and manage risk as we continue to innovate. Working within our Legal, Risk and Compliance teams, you'll help shape a future-fit risk and control framework, support colleagues across the Grow area of business (money and mortgages), and bring fresh energy to how we identify and tackle risk.

Some great things you'll be doing:
• Supporting the design and rollout of risk management frameworks, including training
• Helping risk owners understand and manage their risk environments with confidence
• Spotting and raising emerging risk issues before they become real problems
• Working with teams across the business to embed a collaborative, risk-aware culture
We'd like to see from you:
• Experience being involved in the rollout or ongoing execution of a risk management framework-whether that's hands-on delivery or project support
• Some experience of working in financial services and working on Money products: loans, savings, credit cards etc
• A background in a risk (e.g. completed a graduate scheme) or governance-related role, ideally within a regulated environment
• Comfortable talking to stakeholders and tailoring your communication to the audience
• A logical thinker who's good at solving problems with evidence and insight
• Organised and proactive - someone who loves a plan (and sticking to it)
• Curious, collaborative and always up for learning something new
• Bonus points for any relevant qualifications (IRMCert) but we're happy to help you get there too
