We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk and Compliance Manager to play a pivotal role in our Customer Management Centres. Managing one direct report, a Risk and Compliance Executive, you'll drive our in-house and outsourced Customer Management Centres in maintaining sound risk management as a key enabler for ensuring the right outcomes for our customers, good business practices, and compliance with the many regulations that apply to our business.

Working on a hybrid basis, you'll be expected to regularly visit our contact management centres in Loughborough, Sheffield and Warrington approximately twice a month.

Role overview:

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

  • Facilitating the identification, analysis and evaluation of operational risks and controls across all areas of Customer Management Centre including our operations partnership with Concentrix
  • Ensuring the Customer Management Centre risk and control registers are maintained in accordance with the Currys Group Risk, Financial Services and Third-Party policies
  • Delivering insightful information through written and verbal communication including formal reports and dashboards to senior management and relevant stakeholders. Looking for new ways to present risk insights and enjoy bringing these to life for numerous stakeholder groups
  • Providing Customer Management Centres with guidance and support on the resolution of irregularities and non-compliance issues
  • Performing risk assessment of changes impacting the Customer Management Centres, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivered risk into the business is within the Currys' risk appetite

You will need:

  • Demonstrable risk assessment and or compliance experience within an organisation offering financial services. An understanding of Financial Services Regulations is also desirable.
  • Experience of working with BPO/Outsource Providers ideally within multiple geographies
  • Strong collaboration, relationship building and influencing skills to manage key stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical problem-solving skills, able to simplify issues/be creative to achieve maximum results
  • A clear focus on initiation and delivery of objectives to conclusion, results driven
  • Experience in using risk and control frameworks is desirable however you will receive training on all relevant frameworks and policies
