Revenue Development Manager

A fantastic opportunity is now available to join our team in our London office. We are looking to add a Revenue Development Manager to our team to manage ancillary revenue on behalf Transport UK's rail companies (Advance Ventures' Customers).

The Role

  • Identify new commercial opportunities, prospecting emerging technologies and market trends to create new revenue or deliver social value to the railway's passengers.
  • Create and effectively manage a pipeline of new schemes, coordinating and categorising quick wins versus high value schemes to maximise personal output.
  • Develop new opportunities from inception to business case in partnership with Advance Ventures Customers and all wider Transport UK Advance Ventures Team. Ultimately, producing net positive business cases which can be presented to our Customers for Executive sign off.
  • Provide comprehensive hand over of new schemes to the Contract Manager to deliver new schemes in an efficient and timely manner in line with business case delivery schedules.
  • Employ Transport UK's core principles of Ambition, Dynamism, Partnership and Reliability in engaging with Advance Ventures Customers to deliver a unified strategy against their aspirations and targets.
  • Track and Report on new schemes throughout their lifecycle to the Customers and wider Transport UK stakeholders.
  • Accurately forecast revenue benefits of the pipeline of new schemes to support Advance Ventures annual business planning.

Essential

  • Innovative and strong experience in business.

  • Client-facing communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable

  • Have experience in identifying and developing business improvement initiatives to business case.
  • Proven business case development within a retailing environment
  • An understanding of business case writing skills and numerically astute
