We're hiring for a Revenue Assurance Analyst as part of dentsu in Manchester.
Purpose of the Role:
The Revenue Assurance Analyst plays an active role in the newly centralised and specialised Revenue Assurance team. They will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of client financial data and linking it to operational and financial systems for appropriate revenue recognition. This role is also responsible to ensure client contract assurance is conducted according to the service line compliance framework and UK&I policies. This role works closely with the Commercial Finance/FP&A, Financial Control, Operational Finance and Client Services teams. We are looking for a 10 month maternity cover and ideally a immediate start date.
Job Description:
- Collects and analyses contractual information, FTE calculations and SOWs to validate or calculate the Retainer & PRIP fee entries required in the system (Media Ocean) and to update the FSA trackers.
- Validates system entries against the Fee Share Agreements (FSA) for the clients in respective brands and resolves/investigates any discrepancies.
- Prepares timely reports on system bookings VS forecast for FP&A/Commercial Finance to enable them to partner with the business to understand any variances & resolve where necessary.
- Assists with and reviews Semarchy requests for amendments to client data to ensure any requested changes are valid and supported by the relevant supporting information.
- Support the delivery of timely information for internal and external auditors.
- Support in delivery of any ad-hoc tasks.
Qualifications + Skills
- Trainee/workings towards an Accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with experience in a similar finance role
- Some industry experience in client accounting and assurance processes is desirable.
- Knowledge of MediaOcean or similar client job costing/media booking and accounting platforms
- Ability to demonstrate strong Microsoft Excel and system skills.
- Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, manage and prioritise multiple, conflicting deadlines under pressure and navigate effectively amidst ambiguity and change
- Exhibit a problem-solving mindset and strong work ethic
- Be a strong team player Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills across a wide range of stakeholders, exhibiting relationship building capabilities and influencing collaborative outcomes
- Possess a drive for continuous improvement and performance excellence in their area of responsibility
- Able to educate and instil awareness across the business on revenue recognition principles
- Able to understand the different kinds of revenue streams
