We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retention Growth Manager (Maternity Cover) to lead and execute our retention strategy during a 10 month fixed term contract. We've always had a loyal following and our community is at the heart of who we are as a brand. You will be key to driving growth from our existing customers, using your skills in retention & CRM strategy, execution, segmentation and database growth. There will also be opportunity to widen your channel experience and get involved in the exciting growth trajectory of TALA.

Tasks

Day to day this looks like:

Owning the retention function within Performance Marketing, including but not limited to:

  • Own and develop the retention strategy & roadmap, giving optimisations back to the business on how we can drive customer retention going forward
  • Manage to budgets & targets provided by Finance and the TALA Management team
  • Work at the intersection of acquisition & retention to drive strategic growth initiatives from conception to execution & reporting
  • Analyse and interpret key retention metrics (repeat rates, LTV ratios, cohort reporting), using learnings to inform the strategy & roadmap as required
  • Own and implement all CRM channel activity: ideation, briefs, approvals, execution, segmentation, testing & reporting. Email & SMS are our core channels and you will work across both campaigns and automations
  • Analyse & interpret results from CRM initiatives to drive continuous improvement
  • Bring brand goals & objectives to life across CRM channels
  • Own database growth across both Email & SMS, optimising & testing as required
  • Develop our channel mix and follow market trends in CRM, retention and loyalty to continuously evolve our strategy incorporating best practice and innovationWork closely with the brand, website, creative and merchandising teams to deliver a seamless, best-in-class customer experience

Requirements

Must haves:

  • 5+ years of Retention/CRM experience
  • Proven track record of delivering successful CRM campaigns
  • Data literate with strong excel/google suite skills and the ability to understand & use the output of data visualisation tools
  • We use Lifetimely & Shopify
  • Expertise in planning & building both campaigns & automated CRM journeys
  • In-depth knowledge of CRM best practices, data interpretation and reporting
  • Detailed knowledge of email regulations and compliance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative environment

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Klaviyo, Shopify & Lifetimely
  • Experience scaling into the US market or other geographies
  • Experience in Direct Mail, paid channels, and/or loyalty schemes
  • Experience with eCommerce in a global fashion, tech or start-up context
