Retail Shop Manager - Botanic Avenue, Belfast
Permanent Contract
£24,960 + £2,500 banding allowance + benefits - 36 hrs p/wk
THE ROLE
Being a key role in the Retail team, the Shop Manager will be responsible for the effective day to day running and management of the shop.
You will be responsible for dealing with customer queries as well as overseeing product pricing and stock sourcing through donations while maximising profitability, setting/meeting sales targets, including motivating volunteers to do so. You will also manage budgets, maintain statistical and financial records and be responsible for recruiting, training and supervising a team of volunteers. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation, preparing promotional materials and displays and liaising with Head Office will also be required on a daily basis.

• Demonstrable relevant experience in a retail environment including customer service focus and a "hands-on approach"
• Experience of following financial procedures including cash handling and budgets
• Use of social media to increase sales
• Proven track record of supervising and motivating a team including volunteers (desirable)
