POSITION OVERVIEW

Based in our corporate office in London, the Retail Sales Manager role focuses on driving merchandise sales within the retail department. This position demands strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and partners. The core mission of this exciting role is to grow our wholesale business, service all existing wholesale accounts, and assist with the overall brand's sales strategies. The Retail Sales Manager must be knowledgeable about beauty and skincare, provide exceptional customer service, and be accountable for meeting sales targets. He/she should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple customers at once, and maintain a positive attitude. Other responsibilities may include maintaining accurate inventory records and leading initiatives to improve reporting systems across partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Externally

  • Service all existing wholesale partners
  • Reach out to prospects and manage conversion
  • Provide product information to customers
  • Provide physical training support
  • Keep track of inventory and restock products as needed
  • Manage and organize the store shelves and merchandise
  • Help customers with product returns or exchanges
  • Meet sales goals and targets
  • Use technology and software to manage sales and inventory data.
  • Do regular store visits
  • Fill in new line forms, letters, and certificates
  • Assist partners with all data, information and content needed

Internally

  • Assist with the global sales strategies at large
  • Lead the monthly reporting for 3rd party, distributors, and resorts
  • Update sales decks
  • Benchmarking
  • Adhoc admin

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years' experience in Beauty retail
  • Beauty Industry connections with buyers and distributors
  • Understanding of the beauty trade
  • Operational experience in Retail preferred
  • Willingness to travel extensively across all regions
  • Demonstrates experience in identifying and articulating service standards
  • Group training experience essential
  • Ability to have difficult conversations with key stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Can work under pressure with multiple stakeholders across different regions
  • Innovative thinker
  • Advanced Excel and Power Point skills
