Our client is a leading provider in the temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical logistics sector in the UK, recognized for its commitment to quality and compliance. They specialize in temperature-controlled deliveries to healthcare facilities and directly to patients through their homecare services. Their clientele includes some of the most reputable pharmaceutical brands globally.
They are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager and Responsible Person to enhance their QA team at their Bedfordshire distribution centre.
Role Overview:
The selected candidate will assist senior quality leadership in implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and EU GDP guidelines.
Requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Support the Head of Quality Assurance and Responsible Persons in maintaining the Quality Management System.
- Facilitate regulatory ISO and client audits while conducting supplier audits and internal inspections.
- Promote a positive quality culture throughout the organization.
- Participate in Quality System Management Reviews, preparing meeting materials and managing outputs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of GDP and ISO 9001; familiarity with ISO 13485 is preferred.
- Eligibility for GDP Responsible Person and Responsible Person for Import roles.
- Strong communication skills for addressing internal and external customer inquiries.
- Excellent organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proven people management skills; prior line management experience is advantageous.
- Flexibility to travel within the UK monthly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint.
