We create world-class exhibitions and live events for clients all over the world. We typically deliver 200+ events per year across 6 continents.

Most of our team are based in Bristol, Stratford upon Avon and North Devon. We also have offices in London, San Francisco and Singapore.

We work with a range of B2B clients across most industry sectors, from leading brands through to Government departments, and our events include anything and everything, from conferences and exhibitions, through to product launches, brand activations and roadshows.

Role

About the role...

Following a period of new projects and team growth, we're looking for a Resource Manager to assist our delivery teams, ensuring projects are robustly resourced, with the right people in the right role/s at the right time. This brand new role will support a busy event team with internal resourcing, recruitment, freelancer engagement and management. This is an exciting opportunity to shape your role and develop your career within an award-winning events agency. You will support the delivery teams (Live Events, Exhibition Project Management and Production) in the resourcing of projects, working closely with Group Event Directors, Event Directors, Project Directors and Head of Production.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing and scheduling people resource, allocating individuals to projects and assessing when we need to onboard freelance staff.
  • Collaborating with event delivery teams, department heads and other stakeholders to assess resource requirements, develop plans and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Building a freelance database to call on when needed and managing freelance contracts and onboarding.
  • POC for recruitment and assessing what roles are required and when. Potential for recruitment support to extend beyond the delivery team.
  • Effectively manage resources, enhance productivity, streamline processes and maximise the team's performance.
  • Support new business proposals.
  • Work with delivery teams to manage, schedule and plan resource
  • Develop strong relationships with internal teams and freelancers
  • Anticipate and eliminate issues arising from peaks and troughs in the delivery calendar
  • Manage and maintain JDs and review applications with the hiring manager for new and existing roles
  • Develop knowledge of the freelancer pool, screen calling and maintain a database of skills and ability
  • You will be able to adapt and perform well in a dynamic and evolving work environment

The person:

You will need to have previous experience of working within a resourcing team and therefore will possess excellent scheduling and management skills.

You are able to maintain composure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment, can manage several tasks simultaneously and maintain excellent attention to detail while working to tight deadlines. Communication is key in this role, and you will need to be able to confidently communicate with a range of people - colleagues, suppliers and clients.
