Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to play a key role in supporting operational delivery for EMAS in the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland division.
The Resource Team Manager is primarily responsible for supporting service delivery at EMAS by leading the resourcing team to provide an effective and safe level of resourcing output. This key role ensures that EMAS are able to meet both national and local Key Performance Indicators, through the effective, efficient and timely provision of information and analysis concerning divisional resources.
The post holder is accountable to the Divisional Senior Manager for Planning for the delivery of the service by providing expert knowledge, skill and leadership in the specialty area of resource administration and coordination.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will ensure effective leadership is provided to the resourcing team to meet the needs and objectives of EMAS specifically relating to resourcing and resource planning.
They will act as key liaison within the local division, providing expert knowledge, skill and support to EMAS leadership, staff and enabling services.
The post holder will be required to work regularly without supervision makinguse of specialist rota management software to develop reports and documents.
The post holder will ensure that effective two-way communication is establishedwith various departments and managers in relation to resource indicators which will impact on operational cover, e.g. sickness, annual leave, vacancies, training, shifting demand and changes to the workforce profile/plan.

- To ensure that production of core rotas and all information held on resource data systems are accurate and conform to Working Time Directives and Data Protection Act requirements.
- To maintain best practice and standardised procedures in the use of resource data systems.
