Job title: Resource Planning Specialist

Salary: £47,683+ (Depending on skills and experience)
What you’ll be doing:
- Workforce Utilisation: Monitor and analyse workforce deployment to identify capacity and re-balancing opportunities
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with stakeholders across HR, finance and functions to ensure effective communication and implementation of workforce strategies
- Resourcing Coordination: Support the Resource Planning Manager in implementing resource allocation strategies that align with business objectives and constraints
- Labour Cost Efficiency: Work closely with the Costbase lead / Finance to monitor and report on workforce costs
- Data & Reporting: Work with the People Data team to interpret workforce data to provide insights that drive continuous improvement
- Process Optimisation: Identify inefficiencies in resourcing processes and propose enhancements to improve operational effectiveness
- Internal Mobility Support: Assist in facilitating internal moves and workforce reallocation in line with resource balancing
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with stakeholders across HR, finance and functions to ensure effective communication and implementation of workforce strategies
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Strong resource planning and workforce management experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Ability to interpret data and identify operational improvements
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to optimising resources
- Experience in workforce planning, HR reporting, and resource optimisation
- Proficient in MS Office and basic data interpretation

The Resourcing Cell Planning Team:
The Resourcing Cell Planning Team is a growing, dynamic function dedicated to optimising workforce efficiency and internal mobility. With a strong focus on people analytics and strategic resource planning, the team plays a crucial role in balancing skills and capacity across the organisation. As the team expands, it continues to enhance its ability to drive performance improvements, maximise utilisation, and support data-driven decision-making. Working closely with Capability Leads and business areas, the team ensures effective internal workforce planning and development.
