Typical duties include:
- Develop and maintain key planning tools, techniques and procedures
- Support the team in the detailed production of short, medium and long term plans focusing on both supply and demand drivers.
- Analyse all supply and demand components using appropriate techniques and tools, providing insightful commentary and making and tracking recommendations
- Highlight daily, weekly, monthly resource requirements, monitor plan v actual and undertake re-planning activities with key stakeholders
- Carry out detailed root cause analysis to improve planning accuracy and put measures in place to improve.
- Provide impact assessment and advice on business/readiness changes, key capacity creation enablers/projects, cross functional events and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the business by making and driving recommendations on best use of resource, efficiency enablers and leakage opportunities
- Design and deliver actionable performance MI
- Support, coach and develop less experienced colleagues to aid their development and ensure planning models, methodology and practices are accurate and effective.
Qualifications
Essential
- Excellent understanding of resource planning methodologies and service level dynamics
- Advanced Excel knowledge essential
- Good working knowledge of M365 and Powerpoint
- Good understanding of front and back office performance metrics
- Ability to disseminate large amounts of information, shape into detailed plans and provide insightful commentary and recommendations.
- Ability to design and develop reports with high visual impact
- Personally committed to quality, delivery and improvement
Desirable
- Experience of Back Office resource planning technologies such as Verint Operations Manager would be an advantage.
- Committed team player with the ability to coach and develop others and promote teamwork across the transformation functions in the organisation
