As a Business Analyst within the Treasury and Chief Investment Office Firmwide Resolution & Recovery Technology, Operations and Shared Services team, you will take ownership of essential deliverables and processes. You will collaborate closely with technologists, testers, data owners, and business and operations contacts across the firm. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain experience in a complex regulatory program and contribute to the firm's resolution plans.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead performance and production support of operational reporting and data including performing data validation, monitoring source data feeds, providing subject matter expertise on reporting specifications and data, and tracking reference data updates.
- Engage with key stakeholders including facilitating checkpoints to ensure awareness of system changes and delivery schedules, communicate on issues and associated solutions.
- Collaborate with Technology, testers, and Recovery & Resolution Program to support operational reporting requirements and functions. Build relationships with upstream data owners to enable issue resolution.
- Drive strategic decisions, progress awareness, identify and raise potential risks, and escalate for additional support as appropriate.
- Create and maintain documentation of reporting logic, data sourcing, business rules and user reference materials.
- Assess repetitive system issues and required data fixes, ensure root cause analysis is performed on issues and track and communicate issue resolutions.
- Facilitate change request and design discussions for complex challenges supporting global regulatory reporting requirements leveraging firmwide approved authoritative data and reference sources.
- Identify and raise potential cross-reporting considerations and impacts.
- Run testing automation functionality and perform manual testing to validate changes.
- Foster and collaborate on future product vision and exploration areas; support roadmap development and deliver work according to schedule and priority.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities
- Few years in business / data analysis, system support or a related role.
- Strong data analysis skills and data query knowledge
- Experience documenting requirements, creating user stories and testing, within an agile model.
- Ability to take ownership for assigned deliverables and proactively manage them to timely completion (escalating when appropriate) to meet objectives.
- Must be self-motivated and efficiently manage and track a varied and complex workload.
- Bachelor's degree, or similar numerical and analytical discipline experience.
- Strong ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and influence across a broad organizational landscape.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proactively ask questions and seek feedback on deliverables as required.
- Ease working across a range of complex issues; ability to learn new topics quickly and move between subjects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- SQL and Alteryx experience
- JIRA familiarity
- Project or program management experience
- Financial and/or regulatory reporting experience
