Working in partnership with the County Council, Borough and District Councils and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, you will be working with a diverse range of services and teams to assess risks, design effective emergency plans and deliver training and exercises. Acting as a subject matter expert for the team, you will also provide advice and support to senior managers during a crisis or emergency. We additionally support partners and departments in developing their own Business Continuity plans.

You would be advising and guiding team members on civil contingencies and business continuity matters, and co-ordinating delivery and supporting the Team Manager in their line management responsibilities. Additionally, you will be seeking to identify new and better ways of working and embedding them within the team and across the partnership.

If you have experience or knowledge of Emergency Planning under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, Business Continuity Planning or both, ideally in a supervisory role, we would love to hear from you.
