Senior Resilience by Design Officer

Role Description

The Senior Resilience by Design Officer is crucial in the Operational Resilience Team, tasked with integrating necessary resilience into organizational changes during the design phase to prevent increasing the Operational Resilience risk profile. This role also ensures that changes are reflected in the Operational Resilience framework, tools, data, and processes, incorporating necessary adjustments into resilience activities.

Salary Information

Pay: Circa £60,000 per year.

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

About You

  • You will be liaising with all the Change and Project teams to ensure Resilience is imbedded into all Change initiatives.
  • Ensure that the change and associated resilience activities do not increase the organisation's Operational Resilience risk profile.
  • Ensuring that the resilience planned as part of the change is tested ahead of final implementation of the change.
  • In addition, ensure that any changes impacting our Important Business Suppliers are imbedded into Operational Resilience work including impact tolerances, mapping, vulnerabilities and framework.
  • Strategic Resilience Planning: working closely with the Head of Third Party Risk Management and cross-functional teams to integrate resilience considerations into strategic planning processes.
  • Innovation and Technology Integration: Identify innovative technologies and solutions that can enhance operational resilience. Work closely with technology teams to integrate resilience features into existing and new systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with departments such as IT, risk management, etc. Foster a culture of collaboration and information sharing to strengthen organisational resilience.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in operational resilience, change management, risk management, or a related field.
  • Experience in planning and facilitating workshops of small and medium complexity.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
