Resident Manager

Overall Purpose:

To deliver the Get Living Promise that makes the resident living experience rewarding ('everything possible'), so they have the freedom and choice to live every day to its full potential. This in pursuit of ensuring Get Living neighbourhoods are optimally occupied and able to deliver required returns to shareholders. The role will report into the Senior resident manager.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Manage all new enquiries, viewings, and letting process, including resident induction
  • Manage the resident booking process, ensuring compliance with all standards, legislation and Portchester/Get Living processes, controls and policies
  • Manage the move out process
  • Accurately report and record all activity in line with Get Living controls, processes, and policies
  • Undertake inspections of both occupied and vacant properties, to ensure apartments are maintained at the required standard, reporting breaches or maintenance issues
  • Be prepared to manage the peak periods with your team when there is higher turnaround, particularly over the summer and at weekends
  • Assist residents in all adhoc enquiries with a first time resolution focus
  • Manage the parcel service with the onsite team
  • Attend and assist with events for students

Working pattern: 40 hours a week. 5 out of 6 days a week on a rota basis.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous letting/property management experience
  • ARLA or equivalent property qualification desirable.
