The Leicestershire HDRC is a National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded research team led collaboratively by the County Council alongside partners from local universities.

It will include getting familiar with Leicestershire County Council data, liaising with internal colleagues to explore the depth and breadth of data the council has access to. Alongside this, you will link in with other local data sources and infrastructure, providing a breadth of knowledge of our local data landscape.

This role includes involvement in research tasks, including preparing data, analysing data and presenting findings. You will connect with academic staff in partner universities to design and develop innovative ideas, write research bids and explore research possibilities, enhancing our ability to use and learn from our quantitative data.
