Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Research Analyst Manager to work within the Market Research team. As the Research Analyst Manager you will report to the Head of Market Research.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of research analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Provide strategic direction and guidance to the team in creating, maintaining, and updating database-driven reports.
- Oversee the tracking of market activity and the gathering of intelligence from multiple sources.
- Strategic Market Research:
- Conceive, test, and create new reports using our extensive databases and contacts within our core segments.
- Represent the market research portfolio at live events, webinars, and through contributed written thought leadership published across our in-house media assets.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including industry players, trade organizations, and government policy advisors.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure the commercial success of research-driven products.
- Technical Skills and Industry Knowledge:
- Maintain and update reports with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in the renewables sector and strong understanding of related industries.
- Possess strong project planning skills.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of research analysts.
- Strong advisory skills to guide team members in identifying market gaps and creating compelling concepts for market research.
- Expertise in identifying market gaps and developing innovative market research strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively to generate valuable market insights.
- Initiative to uncover exceptional market insights through extensive engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in working with sales and marketing teams to ensure the commercial success of research-driven products.
- A keen interest and knowledge in solar and renewable energy sectors.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate key trends and statistics effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant degree or equivalent education level, preferably in data analytics, environmental sciences, or other rigorously quantitative fields.
