Sizewell C will generate low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, securing the UK's energy future for at least the next 60 years. As a member of the CWA team, you'll help shape this high-profile, complex, and truly transformational project.
As Project Controls Reporting Manager, you will be at the centre of project delivery, ensuring transparency, accountability, and best-in-class reporting for all stakeholders.
Reporting directly to the Head of Project Controls, you'll work within the CWA-wide PMO and lead the generation of high-quality, formal reports that effectively communicate project progress, risks, and performance.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee the reporting processes across the Civils Work Alliance, guaranteeing accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of all project reports.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to understand and gather reporting requirements and drive collaborative working.
- Develop and implement reporting standards and procedures that enable clear and actionable insights.
- Review, validate, and approve all reports, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment to project controls.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in reporting data, implementing process improvements and the latest reporting tools.
- Mentor and train the team, building capability across the PMO.
- Ensure all reports are fully aligned to the integrated programme, productivity management, and all related project control structures (WBS, CBS, OBS).
- Champion digital engineering and innovative reporting techniques, using tools like Power BI and supporting BIM integration.
- Act as a leader for health, safety, and environmental standards across the project, empowering teams to improve and innovate.
- Promote a strong nuclear safety and performance culture, ensuring project priorities reflect SZC's safety objectives.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships across a diverse project network, acting as an ambassador for CWA and inspiring collaboration and innovation.
- Lead, motivate, and develop your team, driving performance and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
To be successful, you will bring:
- At least five years' experience in reporting, planning, or project controls on complex infrastructure projects.
- A degree, HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject (desirable).
- Experience producing reporting packs for executive level audiences.
- Strong working knowledge of planning software and Power BI dashboards.
- Understanding of construction industry standards, methods, and practices.
We are committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce where every individual has a voice and can contribute to delivering a project of national importance.
