About The Role

Supporting Renewable Energy business in the Corporate Solutions London Wholesale market, you will be part of a small but dynamic team of experienced underwriters, focused on profit-oriented underwriting of Renewable Energy risks under construction and in operational accounts for both onshore and offshore. Our team is focused on building relationships with key partners in the large corporate and middle-market risk segments to further support the growth of the Renewable Energy industry globally.

• Underwrite for existing and new clients in the wholesale London market.
• Extend our footprint as a recognized insurance partner.
• Assess risks, coverage, terms and conditions.
• Support the growth of associated lines of business by actively cross selling their capabilities.
• Contribute to the development of solutions and marketing strategies that are tailor made for our clients.
• Act as a point of reference for Renewable Energy technical issues and keep track of new technologies and market trends.

About You

We are looking for an open-minded, trustworthy and enthusiastic team player who can constructively and respectfully engage in challenging conversations. To be successful, you need to have strong communication, negotiation and partnering skills. Are you at ease with leaving the comfort zone and performing under pressure? Do you consider yourself to be a "self-starter", able and willing to take initiative and implement measures in a goal-oriented manner with:

• 10+ years of underwriting experience in Renewable Energy. Solid understanding of complex program structures, including International Business and Fronting is a plus
• In-depth knowledge of insurance, Renewable Energy underwriting, and the London wholesale insurance market
• Strong analytical skills
• A strong sense of ownership for timely and high-quality delivery with customer focus.
• You are a tech savvy person, have very strong capabilities in statistics and analytical skills to support portfolio steering projects.
• You demonstrate willingness to learn new skills, actively seek knowledge about emerging topics and stay updated on specific industry know-how.
• Ability to demonstrate a high level of integrity and credibility
• The position requires regular interaction with a global underwriting community, some degree of flexibility in terms of working hours is expected.
• Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills is a must, additional language skills a plus.
• The role may require some travel. #LI-Hybrid
