Job Description

  • Develop relationships with customers and brokers for large or complex lending opportunities in structured real estate.
  • Structure financial proposals aligned with bank risk appetite and present high-quality credit papers to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage the customer journey from application to completion, ensuring excellent service throughout.
  • Collaborate with sales and distribution teams to source opportunities with professional real estate investors.
  • Negotiate complex facilities and structures, including potential joint ventures with other lenders.
  • Work closely with Portfolio Management to provide ongoing customer support.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., lawyers, valuers, 3rd parties) to facilitate transactions.
  • Act as the first line of defence in protecting the bank from risk exposure and ensure regulatory compliance where applicable.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in structured real estate finance or a similar role within the banking sector
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth clients and professional real estate investors
  • In-depth knowledge of real estate markets, financing structures, and risk assessment
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
