We have an opportunity a Regulations Manager to join the team. Reporting in to our Service Development & Regulation Director you will support the homes and Manorcourt branches who currently have improvement plans following CQC inspections and will involve multi-disciplinary working to achieve full compliance.
The successful candidate must have a regulatory background with either CQC or the LA, or previous experience as a regulations manager in another organisation and extensive turnaround experience.
Key functions:-
- Early identification of potential service failure
- To provide managers and the operations team with the tools and information required to enable them to comply with legislative & regulatory requirements.
- Internal Regulation audits / mock CQC visits to be undertaken in those homes services and branches identified as potential risk.
- Weekly review of service improvement plans for identified homes/ branches ensuring actions progressing as stated within the plan, in partnership with Home/ Branch/ Regional Manager
- Critical analysis of accidents, incidents and reporting on a weekly basis providing guidance and support to services
- Supporting services with completion of CQC notifications, completion of PIR's and reviewing of any CQC/ PAMMS reports.
As the role will cover large regions there may be the requirement to support across a large number of services, dependent on business needs, which will require extensive travel with the need for overnight stays.
