Making a Difference as Registered Manager, Staying Close Supported Accommodation and Outreach Service

Are you ready to welcome a new challenge in a BRAND NEW purpose built development specifically for young people making the journey from a children's home to independence?

At St Helens, we have built a bespoke development of trainer flats for our young people who can move in as part of their planned journey to a tenancy of their own. The team around the young people will support, encourage, guide, mentor and grow with them as they make that successful transition.

Working closely with partners from housing, education, health, community and families, this is a fantastic and unique opportunity to start a service from new and shape it in the way our children need it to be.
As the building nears completion, now is the time for you to join us and we are therefore recruiting a team
• Care Experience Champion
• Registered Manager
• Deputy Manager
• Staying Close Support Team
• NEET support worker

You will join the existing service of Social workers and Personal Advisors to make our already Outstanding service even better.

As corporate parents, we are extremely proud of the Children We Look After and our care Experienced adults. As part of our strategy to enable even more children to live in their community safely and being able to maximise their potential we are developing our services, supported at all levels in the Council and with strong partnerships.
The Care Experience Champion post is ideally placed to directly influence policy and strategy and is ring fenced to people with care experience

As the Registered Manager you will have a blank canvas to which you can bring your ideas and best practice, enabling your team to deliver for our children. Everything from the name to the layout is open for development as long as it is in co production with our children.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for the right person to join our service, build your team and develop the offer across St Helens

You must be driven by the desire to ensure the best services for children and their families, provided by staff who are superbly supported and in an environment which thrives on innovation.
We can offer you support of the whole Corporate Parenting network, supervision and training to assist you and the team.
