Job description
Full Time, Permanent

Join us in transforming children's lives at Bristol City Council's Children Residential Service. We're on the lookout for a dedicated and passionate Registered Manager to be part of our amazing team.

This is your chance to be a key player in our service. We have reprofiled our existing homes into smaller, more nurturing environments. We provide a therapeutic care experience, with a robust matching process and a high standard of care for our children.

Our homes are well staffed, with excellent staff retention. There is no current use of agency workers.

We have an in-depth induction and training program, setting you up for success in your role. You will receive a high level of managerial support enabling you to maintain high professional standards. Senior managers are committed to providing a reflective and learning culture within our homes.

If you share our passion for developing and embedding a therapeutic approach, in the lives of children facing challenges, we want to hear from you. Our vision is to create a homely, safe, and nurturing environment where children thrive.

We take a trauma-informed approach, ensuring individualised care and understanding of our children's needs.

Flexibility is key. We welcome applications from experienced assistant managers in residential children's homes, looking to continue developing, or existing registered managers with interest in the development of therapeutic care.

Working within the Local Authority, you'll be integrated into our professional network, fostering robust connections with key practitioners involved in the lives of children.

Prior experience in a residential children's setting is essential, and an Enhanced DBS Check is required for this role.

Please note that this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
