Job Description

The role is responsible for maintaining a portfolio of renewable business within the Aviation industry, specifically focusing on the data, news, and intelligence sectors. This involves ensuring continued client satisfaction and contract renewals while simultaneously driving targeted revenue growth across the Aviation Week Network portfolio of brands. The position will target markets in Europe and the Middle East, aiming to meet and exceed revenue expectations by developing strategic relationships and identifying new opportunities for expansion within these regions.

Role Accountability and Duties:

  • You will be generating and qualify new business opportunities within existing accounts
  • You will be developing new business through lead generation in the assigned territory (Europe and the Middle East)
  • You will be managing all aspects of client contracts, including negotiating renewal terms and ensuring contracted obligations are met
  • You will be achieving a high client renewal rate and seek opportunities to cross-sell additional services
  • You will be driving product adoption and manage escalations to ensure client retention and long-term satisfaction
  • You will monitor and report on sales activities and KPIs using Salesforce
  • You will be Identifing opportunities and strategies that deliver value to clients and drive revenue growth
  • You will be collaborating and supporting the European Sales Director by providing key feedback from clients
  • You will be developing and maintain trusted relationships with clients, focusing on the strategic objectives of their executive leadership

Qualifications

  • Experience in selling services or subscriptions
  • A Strong interest or background in the Aviation sector is desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and negotiating with clients at all levels
  • Knowledge of the Aerospace & Defense market is desirable
  • Proven track record of strong sales performance
  • Experience using Salesforce is highly valued
  • Strong business and commercial acumen
  • Results-oriented and proactive in seeking out ways to add value
  • Excellent relationship-building, people management, and negotiation skills
  • Customer-centric focus with a collaborative and problem-solving approach
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working across various levels of stakeholders, including C-Suite
