Regional Sales Manager

The Regional Sales Manager is an integral part of our dynamic central management team. You will receive guidance and be accountable to either the Managing Director or Sales Director, ensuring seamless collaboration and coordination with other members of our exceptional central management team as and when necessary.

Joining us means being ready to travel extensively within the defined Region and across the UK to attend important Company meetings and events. This exciting opportunity could require occasional overnight stays away from home.

As the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of highly talented Business Development Managers and Account Managers. This includes both permanent and temporary assignments, allowing you to leverage their expertise and drive outstanding performance in the Region.

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Lead and inspire the Regional Sales Team to effectively fulfill all internal and external commitments with professionalism and competence, including managing customer relationships and overseeing tasks related to Account Management and Business Development.
  • Ensure that all Regional Sales Staff are thoroughly trained and equipped to excel in their respective roles.
  • Ensure that all Regional Sales Staff comply with relevant Government, Industry, and Company Health and Safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Organise and manage the Regional Team in a way that maximizes profitability and accountability within the Company.
  • Collaborate with the Company Accountant to create a comprehensive Regional Annual P&L budget for the Company's annual budget and a Regional Outline P&L forecast for the Company's 3-year plan.
  • Manage the Regional Sales Team to meet or exceed budget targets.
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators for the Regional Team that align with the Company's business objectives.
  • Conduct effective monthly one-on-one meetings with first line reports and ensure that they do the same for their own reports, with copies provided to the Business Support Manager.
  • Attend and report to Company Board Meetings as required by the Managing Director.
  • Perform any additional activities that may be reasonably requested by the Managing Director or another executive Director of the Company.

Accountabilities:

  • Ensure efficient operation of the Regional Sales Team in support of the Company's Vision and Mission.
  • Achieve the Key Performance Indicators set for the Region.
  • Drive the overall financial performance of the Region, with a focus on target turnover, contract value increase, and profitability.
