About the Job
The LHC Procurement Group (LHCPG) is seeking an innovative and client-focused Regional Procurement Manager to deliver procurement solutions that drive community impact. As a pivotal part of our regional operations team, you will work closely with local authorities, registered housing providers, and public sector bodies to facilitate high-quality procurement services. This one-year fixed-term role offers a hybrid working model, providing flexibility and opportunities for professional growth.
As Regional Procurement Manager, you will act as the primary contact for procurement services in your region, ensuring client needs are met with tailored solutions. This role offers the opportunity to:
- Lead procurement activities that support publicly funded building projects.
- Engage with clients and suppliers to foster meaningful partnerships.
- Provide expert advice on procurement strategies, frameworks, and legislation.
- Support suppliers, including SMEs, to succeed in the procurement process.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing a range of procurement activities from project registration to contract award.
- Advising clients on suitable procurement options and providing end-to-end framework support.
- Building relationships with local authorities, housing providers, and suppliers.
- Engaging with suppliers to enhance their participation in frameworks, including offering training and guidance.
- Collaborating with the Group Procurement Team to ensure frameworks meet client and market needs.
- Supporting the development and delivery of the Architectural Design Services Framework (ADS2).
- Representing LHCPG at client and supplier events across the Midlands, London, and the Southeast.
What you need
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience in regulated procurement for public sector organisations.
- Strong understanding of public procurement regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency with e-tendering platforms and CRM systems.
- Experience in housing, new build construction, refurbishment, or maintenance.
- Accreditation or progress toward MCIPS (minimum Level 5).
Desirable:
- Familiarity with the social housing sector.
- Experience supporting SMEs in procurement processes.
