Regional Operations Manager

Salary: £37,000 to £40,000 per annum (dependent upon experience) plus bonus and company vehicle
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am -5pm, with flexibility required
Location: Southeast Region
What can you expect?
We have an exciting opportunity that has become available to oversee our Southeast Engineers and commercial operation. As a Regional Operations Manager you will be the go-to person for your region ensuring smooth delivery of work to our customers whilst making sure we have a happy a competent workforce.
Due to the nature of the role there is a requirement for significant travel within the Region and at times other area of the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
• Management and leadership of the Regional Operations and Engineers.
• Oversight of the planning and scheduling of work - Liaise and supervise scheduler.
• Ensuring that targets are achieved.
• Monitor overtime, bonuses and sickness.
• Report on weekly staffing, contracts and work along with attending meetings
• Recruitment, training, and appraisals of staff to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Keep up to date with changes in law and legislation and best practice of the company.
• Ensure serviceability and availability of all Company commercial vehicles being operated within the Region.
• Work closely with Sales & Account Management Team to ensure service delivery.
Key Accountabilities:
• The efficient running of the Regional Operations and engineering team.
• The competence and capacity of the Regional Operations and engineering team.
• The health and safety of the Regional Operations and engineering team.
• Uphold the Company's reputation and standing with its customers.
• Responsible for the upskilling and competency of engineers
• Required to carry out PPM/reactive duties as required.
Requirements
What do I need?
- Full driving licence
- It is essential you have a water hygiene/treatment background and have knowledge of knowledge of ACOP (L8).
- Experience in growing and developing a team is needed and you must have good people skills, communication and leadership.
- Having the ability to improve profits and margins is very advantageous
