Location: Ebbw Vale, Exeter and Basingstoke

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily transportation and logistics requirements for Next. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Responsible for managing Next sites at Ebbw Vale, Exeter and Basingstoke
• Monitor and liaise with sites each morning ensuring all routes are covered and escalating issues to the senior team
• Take on the O License for the three sites managed
• Making sure sites are keeping organised records of vehicles, schedules and completed orders, ensuring documents are properly filed and logged.
• Ensure all safety records, compliance and regulations are up-to-date and in line with company policies and legislation, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous and demonstrative experience as a FLM/ Shift Manager/Transport Manager, within a logistics environment or similar role (Essential)
• Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management
• Internal CPC Qualification (Essential)
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage, organize and train direct reports
• A recognised qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be well-received
