The role
As an SME Account Manager you will be responsible for supporting and expanding our small and medium enterprise customer relationships. Your main task will be to establish and maintain partnerships with businesses across our 3 focus sectors and ensure they are set up for commercial success. You will work closely with the internal teams, especially CSMs, to ensure that our clients receive the best possible solutions to meet their staffing needs and fill gaps.
This means, among other things:
- Establishing and maintaining reliable long-term relationships with a defined portfolio of customers
- Understanding the organizations with their specific requirements and challenges, and developing scalable solutions to meet their and other SME customers' staffing needs
- Analysis of customers' needs to understand how we can best serve those needs, and then deliver actions to fulfil and delight customers
- Further development of our services, products and advice to customers
- Identify new business opportunities and revenue potential related to your book of customers and work with sales to develop strategies to win these opportunities
- Working closely with internal teams, including sales, recruiting, operations, and marketing to ensure customer requirements are met and customer satisfaction is kept high
- Implementation of pricing framework, management of contracts, participation in negotiations and other commercial aspects of the customer relationship
About you
The ideal candidate has the following experience and skills:
- 3+ years' experience in account management within a company offering digital services, managing large volumes of SME accounts
- High EQ, relationship building and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and planning skills to develop the portfolio
- Customer focus and the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships
- Discipline and ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various internal teams
- Willingness to travel around the UK
