Purpose of the Role
- Develop and manage the commercial strategy, business development, and commercial budget.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and prospects to meet growth expectations in terms of revenue and profit.
- The Regional Managing is responsible for the overall results of the region, and ensuring optimal communication and knowledge sharing within own region, between
other regions, with Division LPR, and the HQ in the Netherlands.Main Focus of the Role
- Effectively manage the assigned organizational unit, including people, performance, budget, and working conditions, to achieve the unit's goals.
- Emphasize the critical role of team spirit and collaboration, with a strong focus on leading by example. This involves working closely with peers at the Group-
LPR level, engaging with the European Management Team, and fostering cross-functional and cross-regional partnerships. - Additionally, address new challenges within the supply chain environment to drive business acceleration, including the advancement of innovation and digitalization
LPR is looking for a seasoned Regional Manager sparring partner for and member of the Management Team of LPR division, with strong academic pedigree;
...is very experienced working in the UK and lives in the surroundings of Birmingham;
• ...will have extensive experience as Commercial Director (10-15 years) in an international environment and has a minimum of 5-10 years of professional
background in retail and/or supply chain environment;
• ...is a professional with a "hands-on" mentality and KPI driven, with ideally relevant B-2-B services experience (preferably within a retail / FMCG context) in a fast-paced
business setting;
• ...is mature, "no push-over", an independent thinker and challenging business partner;
• ...works with integrity and creates an open culture throughout the organisation; shows respect for the intrinsic value of other people and proactively invests in the
success and development of his team; develop more the importance of team spirit and collaboration
• ...brings excellent interpersonal skills, being able to interact at all levels across the organization, thereby building effective working relationships.
