DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a Regional IT Manager - ERCC to join our IT team. Accountable for running IT services on multiple sites within the ERCC (E-Commerce, Retail, Consumer and Convenience) Business Unit.
Accountable for leading the IT deployment team within ERCC. Working as a member of the IT SLT and closely supporting the Head of IT community within ERCC to ensure successful resourcing of Continuous Improvement changes and customer deployments of strategic applications across the ERCC UK operations. The role will require coordination of IT resources across central, local and global IT teams.
This role will be to coordinate and work closely with the Head of IT's and VP IT to deliver IT solutions to meet the business needs of today and the future.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will be responsible for:
- Lead a centralised team of Configurer's and implementors enabling flexible and cost-effective IT solutions for the ERCC business and customers.
- Support business development working with the teams and pipeline to ensure appropriate, cost-effective solutions are proposed and planned for successful implementation within the BU's.
- Involved in and leading continuous improvement activities.
- IT Supplier Management.
- IT Product Management.
- Adherence to Information Security policy and standards.
- IT Implementation - direct and own solution design and delivery of IT solutions, services, and processes.
- IT Service Management - delivery and maintenance of ITSM processes in operations and to lead service performance to defined standards and SLAs.
- IT Change Management - run all aspects of change and release management, using required predefined tools and processes, for IT systems.
- IT Business Development - support business development activity for all new opportunities or accounts and renewals within area of responsibility.
- IT Value Creation - create a culture to support IT commercialisation.
- Management of the IT Budget - own the IT budget creation, management and communicates and works with the financial controllers to identify opportunities.
- IT Cost management - to be aware of and manage IT cost base and drivers within area of responsibility, and to maintain regular monitoring and reviews to ensure transparency, effective control and to act as appropriate.
- Internal Customer Relationships - manage and co-ordinate relationships and communication with business stakeholders.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- It is critical that you have experience in the logistics industry and have in-depth demonstrable IT experience including people management experience.
- Experience of in-depth internal stakeholder and external customer management.
- Previous experience of business development, self-sufficient team player
- Display resilience in difficult situations with challenging customers.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Change, Project, and Implementation Management.
- Understanding of IT Service Management and priority escalations.
- Budget overview with experience of financial/commercial awareness including negotiating and influencing.
- Able to manage a team effectively and display leadership and coaching skills.
- Experience of product and supplier management.
- Excellent Communication (written and verbal).
- Planning and Organisation.
- Ability to be hands on in a fast-paced environment, support operational needs at short notice and when covering colleague annual leave.
- Experience/understanding of PowerBI and Office365 applications (including Access and PowerAutomate).
