About This Role
Reporting to the Global Tax Director of Finance Operations, the Regional Finance Manager, EMEA will act as a strategic partner and advisor, accountable for driving global initiatives across all areas of finance including, but not limited to, financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, annual staff remuneration, billing operations, and training. The Regional Finance Manager will be responsible for both directed work coming from the Global Tax Finance team, as well as self-directed work that includes inputs and priorities from the regional leadership team. This role will drive operational excellence and execution of strategic and important projects in Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Tax Finance team in driving strategic initiatives by coordinating and collaborating with different functions and key stakeholders across the business
- Partner cross-functionally with regional business leaders and operations teams, working across reporting lines, business units and geographies
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and coordinate with Global Tax Finance team to put these improvements into practice
- Drive various special projects, leveraging a broad knowledge of different functions, including Accounting, Finance, FP&A, Billing, and Operations
- Partner with other Operations functions to create change management and communications strategies to ensure strong adoption of processes and practices across the business
- Lead the development, implementation, integration, and adoption of new processes, systems, technologies, as needed
Qualifications
- A number of years of related professional experience in financial analysis, reporting, and finance operations and/or consulting
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
- Deep analytical skills with ability to translate data and trends into key insights and recommendations, financial acumen and ability to build and manage budgets, models, etc.
- Ability to handle ad hoc projects as business requirements emerge and evolve
- Experience in large, matrixed and global professional service organization preferred
- Experience organizing and working with multiple, cross-functional teams
- Thrives in ambiguous environments and can resourcefully work through them
- High level of accountability; self-driven and motivated
- Excited to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills, including ability to think about complex issues using scientific/critical thinking approach to solve problems and make sound judgments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with expertise in PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel as needed
