Full Time, Fixed Term - 9 Month Maternity Cover
We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic Project Managers with a passion for place making to join our progressive, multi -disciplinary Regeneration Team. Taking a place based approached, the Regeneration Team is currently leading the transformation of areas of Growth and Regeneration across the City including the City Centre, Western Harbour and Frome Gateway amongst others.
What will I be doing?
Working under the guidance of the Head of Regeneration, you will be responsible for leading a team to deliver leading a number of projects within the City Centre and Frome Gateway. This will involve supporting major planning applications, co-ordinating the delivery of strategic infrastructure projects, securing planning approval for the transformation of Castle Park, planning and delivering meaningful community engagement, undertaking procurements and the management of consultants, contractors and developers to achieve best value.'
In accordance with our strategic priorities set out in the City Centre DDP and Frome Gateway Framework you will work with the Committee Members, funders, developers, and the local communities to develop, enable and deliver projects from inception to completion that deliver inclusive and sustainable growth.
What do I need?
- Experience in a relevant field such as housing, regeneration or capital/infrastructure.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and a proven track record of successful partnership working to deliver projects.
- Proficient Project Management skills.
- Experience of creatively and meaningfully engaging communities.
- Experience of procurement.

For employees who are currently on a fixed term contract with Bristol City Council, the secondment must not extend beyond the end of the fixed term period to ensure there is a substantive post to return to.
