We are delighted to share that we are searching for a Recycling Co-Ordinator to join our team at Diageo Leven!

Salary of £34,222.06 in addition to a competitive benefits package including pension, shares scheme and bonus!

This Sustainability team plays a vital role in managing all things sustainable on site. A progressive and engaging team with a strong sense of responsibility and autonomy. Beyond sustainability, the team contribute to productivity savings, identifying waste reduction opportunities, optimising rebates.

About the role
The Recycling Coordinator is a key member of Leven's Environment Team, ensuring site all waste management tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance of all relevant environmental regulations, whilst at the same time contributing to Diageo's 2030 sustainability goals. The role holder manages, evaluates, interprets and co-ordinates site waste material data to ensure all waste material are removed from site efficiently and at the optimum time, raise and environmental Health and Safety issues and see opportunities for improvements in compliance and sustainability.

Key points you would be responsible for are:

• Material Recycling & Co-ordination and Hazardous Waste management
• Container uplift schedules
• 5S Champion - External Housekeeping for Recycling areas and being Key contact for 3rd party waste management company
• Improve project identification and delivery along with supporting GRMS Audit and compliance, as well as 3rd Party Audits
• Lead safety at T1 DOR

Ultimately, being able to identify team flexibility around shifts, being adaptable to change and having the determination to develop yourself and the team around you are key factors in this dynamic role.

About You
The successful candidate for this role will have excellent knowledge of waste management in and awareness of environmental regulations and law.

Being someone who is energised by handling data and maximising value through its usage to spot trends and efficiency improvement opportunities will set you up for success

Bein an excellent communicator allowing you to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders of all levels will help you thrive.

Essential Qualifications

• RTITB accredited FLT license, with demonstrated regular usage, keeping up to date with training and trends.
