Description
Volunteering is a great way to support your local children and young adults' hospice whilst making friends, gaining experience and having fun. If you are 21 years or over and have a few hours a week to give as a volunteer in our Bike project, then we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- One day a week commitment (could be 2 half days)
- Some basic knowledge of bikes required - but as part of the team you will volunteer alongside qualified bike mechanics who can guide you on how to service / repair bikes
- Helping to clean, refresh, repair or rebuild donated bikes, making them ready to ride for the next cyclist
- A desire to join a team (currently 12 volunteers) that makes a positive contribution
- The bike workshop is located within our warehouse, at Winnall, Winchester.
