A dynamic and knowledgeableprofessionally qualified Records Manager to work within the Information and Records Management Service in Digital Services at Lancashire County Council.

Our Information and Records Management Service delivers high quality records management support for physical and electronic records across the entire Council, managing a Corporate Record Centre, Deed Room facility and EDRMS. The service consistently strives for innovation and ways to support and develop key services.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual with a talent, experience and skills in Records Management to join us on our journey to improve information governance, risk and compliance, information management, access and disposal across the County Council, helping to support our organisation's digital ways of working and ambitious Digital Strategy. What we are looking for...

Passion - you'll be passionate about records management and have a keen interest in making improvements to existing processes, policies and procedures - we need someone who is ready to take the reins and play a lead role in specific projects. We need someone who is articulate and has excellent interpersonal skills, being able to tailor your communications appropriately for various audiences - your previous background and knowledge in this area will greatly benefit our service, providing a fresh perspective to the team.

Challenge- you will be a highly motivated self-starter who is ready to be challenged by our fast-paced work environment, dealing with conflicting workloads and various projects. We want you to take advantage of all available resources as well as keeping up to date with your records management professional skills and knowledge.

Collaboration - working within our service involves an overall team effort, collaborating to deliver excellent records management. We want you to lead on records management both within our service and with the wider organisation. You will be welcomed into our team and work alongside other Records Managers, and colleagues in a supportive and friendly team. You will be able to use our training to fill in any skills gaps - become part of the future of Digital Services at Lancashire County Council and achieve job satisfaction.
