Empire Broadcasting Corporation is seeking a talented and experienced Recording Studio Manager to lead our state-of-the-art facility in delivering exceptional audio production services. Responsibilities
- Session Management: Coordinate all aspects of recording sessions, including setup and logistics for orchestras, solo artists, and group sessions.
- Music to Picture: Manage and schedule music-to-picture sessions, ensuring all technical and creative requirements are met for clients in film, television, and media.
- Client Relations: Act as the primary studio contact, handling client inquiries, scheduling, and ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
- Event Coordination: Oversee showcases, live events, and in-studio performances, working with clients and staff to organize successful events.
- Studio & Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all recording, editing, and playback equipment is well-maintained, coordinating with technicians for repairs and upgrades.
- Staff Management: Supervise engineers, assistants, and interns, manage schedules, and ensure that team members are aligned with session and event requirements.
- Inventory & Supplies: Maintain a fully equipped studio with all necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies ready for each session or event.
- Budgeting & Financial Management: Monitor budgets, manage expenses, and oversee invoicing and payments for studio services.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the studio meets all health, safety, and legal standards for clients and staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience in studio management or a music-related environment, with a focus on session management and client coordination.
- Understanding of music-to-picture workflows, orchestral recording requirements, and event logistics.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus.
- Proficiency with studio scheduling software, project management tools, and standard office software.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a studio setting.
