Job Description

The Strategic Real Time Payments (RTP) Manager will manage RTP programme activities from a strategic and execution lens, to deliver on Visa's regional and domestic expansion programmes to underpin Visa's networks and businesses.

The candidate will be an experienced strategy professional with expertise across money movement, payment schemes, and related market-specific aspects such as regulatory considerations. An understanding of real time payments is required at a strategic level, together with practical experience in this space to drive Visa's agenda across this space together with strategic partners, industry bodies and regulatory authorities.

The candidate will manage a range of external and internal initiatives, partnering closely with teams across Visa Direct Solutions, Product, Technology and Legal/Regulatory. The candidate will have strong management experience in complex change initiatives in a global matrix organization, managing dependencies across internal and external teams, as well as across the Product portfolio to drive growth-oriented prioritization and execution.

The candidate will be expected to deliver near-term results and establish a basis for long-term growth through scalable delivery and commercial approaches.

Core Responsibilities

This will be a high profile, multidisciplinary role and will require an experienced candidate who will:

• Develop strategy across multiple global markets
• Execute on our RTP strategic plans
• Enable data driven decisions across the portfolio
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand and incorporate viewpoints and drive expansion activities across target markets

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in payments strategy and delivery, ideally gained from a consulting environment
• Highly skilled in the knowledge of various payment technologies and trends in new payment flows globally
• Outstanding executive communication skills to develop presentations, business cases and associated summaries
• A self-starter who takes accountability for getting things done
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence colleagues
• Analytical, data driven, research led and commercially sharp
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
