About the team
As a member of our Real Estate Project Management team, housed within the Corporate Services department, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our office spaces across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. From designing and building TikTok and ByteDance offices to overseeing every aspect of the project lifecycle, your contributions will be essential to our success.

Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including real estate, facilities, design, and construction teams, to develop comprehensive project plans for office space design and construction projects, refurbishments or upgrades to existing offices.
2. Manage all phases of the real estate project lifecycle, from site selection and due diligence to design development, construction oversight, and project closeout.
3. Partner with external consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality office spaces that align with ByteDance's brand and culture.
4. Coordinate with authorities and regulatory agencies to secure necessary permits and approvals for office construction and renovation projects.
5. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet established project goals and objectives.
6. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
7. Provide regular project status updates and reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Proven track record of at least 5 years of experience in real estate project management, with a focus on commercial office space design and construction projects, office refurbishments and upgrades in the EMEA region.
2. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop detailed project plans, manage project budgets and schedules, and lead cross-functional project teams to successful project completion.
3. Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
4. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external partners at all levels of the organization.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions to complex real estate challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
2. Strong understanding of real estate development processes, including site selection, due diligence, leasing negotiations, design development, construction management, and project financing.
3. Proficiency in project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools and technologies.
