This is an exciting time to join HHFT as the Trust is a year intoa fully managed equipment replacement programme which will result in department refurbishment and installation of new imaging equipment with the latest technology.

About us
Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital has around 450 beds and provides a full range of planned and emergency services. These include specialist services for rare or complex illnesses for patients across the UK, including liver cancer, colorectal cancer and pseudomyxoma peritonei (a rare lower abdominal cancer).
- HHFT Radiology provides acute, elective and trauma imaging services across 4 hospital sites. Modalities include CT, MR, Nuclear medicine, x-ray, fluoroscopy, Mammography ultrasound and Interventional Radiology procedures.

Experience and knowledge
Essential
- Significant post graduate radiography and leadership experience
- Experience of managing clinical services and teams
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of radiation safety regulations & MHRA guidelines relating to imaging
- Experience in staff recruitment, development, appraisal and performance management
- Experience of service improvement and process redesign to increase efficiency and effectiveness of services
- Evidence of professional and leadership development
- Experience of managing clinical and non-clinical risk
Desirable
- Experience of managing Radiology services and teams
- Previous NHS leadership role
- Experience of business strategy and planning
- Knowledge of quality improvement tools and methodology
- Previous NHS Leadership role
