Job Title: Quality Manager
Location: Barrow-in-Furness (fully onsite).
Salary: £56,000+ depending on skills & experience
What you’ll be doing:

Providing leadership, through collaboration and engagement, to a diverse and multi skilled team of Quality personnel across Infrastructure programmes

Identifying Quality resource requirements within Infrastructure programmes

Reporting on contractor Quality performance across new & renovated site facilities, to monitor Quality throughout procurement, design, delivery, and performance phases

Delivering Quality management information and, contributing to the Integrated Project(s) Principal Contractor (PC) and Client performance

Influencing internal stakeholders ensuring robust Quality requirements are embedded
Your skills and experience:
-
Experience of Lifecycle Management (LCM) process, Business Management Systems, and Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA)

Working experience of New Engineering Contracts (NEC) 3 & 4 and the governance regarding roles and responsibilities within the framework
-
Understanding and application of Construction, Design, Management (CDM) regulations

Knowledge of the civil infrastructure contractual Quality requirements/standards

The Quality Infrastructure team:
The Quality Infrastructure Team supports the Shipyard Capability and SF&I functions, which are expanding to deliver future Submarine builds. This diverse role involves cross-business and supply chain engagement, occasional travel, and offers significant long-term career development opportunities. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
